I have been collaborating with the Friends of the Huntley Archives at the London Metropolitan Archives (FHALMA) since 2018, one of the largest repositories of textual and visual records related to Black British activism, book publishing, and political cultures of the twentieth century. As a research consultant, co-curator, and programs volunteer, I have organized numerous events and exhibitions online, at the London Metropolitan Archives, and at the Gunnersbury Park Museum in West London.

I have designed and taught numerous interactive courses on art and social movements for youth. At Columbus College of Art and Design, my course —“Young Artists Finding their Voices”— introduced students ages 9 and 10 to themes of migration, identity, and representation through illustrated children’s literature and biographies. At the Museum of the City of New York, my courses—”African Americans and the Global Black Freedom Struggle” and “Freedom Now! Student Activism in NYC and London”— introduced students ages 15-17 to histories of transnational activism through exhibition tours, documentaries, and primary sources.
